Empowering your Imagination...

I had a wild idea one day while building a campaign for my friends—why not create an app for this? So, I did, even though I had no clue how to start. After two years of trial and error, things finally started to click. WorldWizard isn’t perfect, but I’m passionate about making it the best it can be. I’m an obsessive, high-energy person who loves tackling tough challenges head-on. I wanted to give this app a fresh twist, offering something valuable and new to the TTRPG community without changing the essence of what we all love. WorldWizard aims to make world-building fun, fast, and accessible for everyone at your table.
The Creator
I was on the bring of a nervouse breakdown one night trying to figure out how to put together another session for my party, but I couldn't figure it out, so I did what anyone would do in my shoes.
I watched all the videos from the channels like, "How to be a Great GM", and Matt Mercer and eventually could hold my own at the game table. But I wanted to help others do the same using my existing skillset. It's world building, and coding!
That's why I made this site.
My vision For World Wizard
I know what it's like to try and lay the foundation of your world while you plan your session. It's overwhelming to say the least.
Imagine having a world fully fleshed-out from origin, to your current timeline, with factions, wars, religions, towns and cities that make sense before you plan your session for the week.
That's what I am trying to solve. It's not just the on-demand requests like NPCs, Monster, Items, Quests, etc. But it's the why things are the way they are in your world. I want everyone to have a rich world beaming with interest that your players want to be apart of.
We Are A Privately Owned Company
World Wizard is proudly independent. We’re not backed by venture capital, and we don’t answer to shareholders. That means we make decisions based on what’s best for our users and our creative community—not what's most profitable on a spreadsheet.
We Believe In Remote Work
All jobs that can be completed at home, should be executed at home. We have absolutely no plans to build and force anyone to come to these horrifying offices. We stand for caregivers, remote living, and work-life balance.
Collaboration
World Wizard is a community-driven application. That means the features we build are largely guided by you—our users. Your feedback, ideas, and requests shape what we work on next.
We also believe in sharing. Datapacks, modules, and community content will always be available to those who want to collaborate and contribute. Our goal is to keep the spirit of tabletop gaming alive: creative, generous, and shared.
We’re also proud to support real human artists. We offer free perks for creators who choose to use their art in our platform. For example:
- Cards that feature human-made art are automatically upgraded to foil when printed.
- Human-made assets are marked with a special creator token.
- Every piece of art shared through World Wizard includes a link back to the original artist.
We don’t believe in a future where human creativity is replaced. Instead, we see a future where tools support and celebrate the artists behind the work.
Physical Content For Your Table
While this may still be a ways off, one of our long-term dreams is to publish full-color, hardcover game modules made by the community—collections of homebrew worlds, adventures, and settings brought to life in print.
We already offer a card-printing service to help GMs bring their creations to the table. These cards can be used for anything:
- Initiative trackers
- Quest reminders
- Magic item handouts
- NPC references
Even in a world that’s going increasingly digital, we believe the core of roleplaying is still physical—rolling dice, passing notes, holding game pieces. That’s why we’ll continue to invest in tools that bring the game to your table.
VTTs Aren’t Out Of The Question
While we don’t currently plan to build our own virtual tabletop (VTT), we absolutely want to support the ones you're already using.
Our goal is to launch open APIs and plugins that allow you to bring World Wizard content into tools like Foundry—and whatever comes next. We want to be part of your setup, not compete with it.
